Craig Boucher -
Director of GeoAssurance, Inc.
Craig Boucher is an experienced attorney with over 30 years experience in the
title insurance and real estate development industry. Mr. Boucher was General
Counsel, Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary for Signal Landmark Inc.
While at Signal, he managed a four member staff and up to twenty outside firms
to provide real estate development and litigation legal services. He had primary
responsibility for all legal efforts involving Signal's commercial, industrial
and residential developments, including the production of documents for initial
acquisition, entitlements, covenants, conditions and restrictions, reciprocal
easements, sales and leasing.
His extensive experience in title insurance work includes original land title
searches, mineral, oil and gas reports and finance issues. Mr. Boucher
established and managed for ten years the Los Angeles County Commercial Services
Office of First American Title Insurance Company.
Mr. Boucher's environmental expertise extends to disposition of hazardous
material and handling sensitive environmental issues from endangered species to
coastal wetlands. He has negotiated development agreements, map processing,
public and private credit agreements. He has documented and recorded all forms
of support for the same.
With a law degree from Western State University College of Law, Mr. Boucher was
admitted to the California Bar in 1976. He attended the University of
California, Santa Barbara; California State University, Long Beach and Western
State University College of Law.
